Eyelet is a special rivet that strengthens the edges of the opening. This prevents the cord from rubbing around them, thus preventing the size of the hole from changing due to friction. It also protects the cord from excessive wear, as the inner edges of the louver are smooth, the cord slides along them very easily. The external appearance with louvres is more solid, the product will look more expensive and last longer.
It is installed with special pliers or a hand press with a suitable nozzle.
